David’s automotive journey began at age 11, rebuilding engines alongside his father. A graduate of Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in 1992 with honors in automotive and diesel mechanics, David has nearly three decades of professional experience. After serving the Longview community as a technician and manager for 28 years, David launched his own shop in November 2024. At David’s Bulldog Automotive, pride in workmanship is at the core of everything we do.
When he's not in the shop, David enjoys restoring classic vehicles. His collection includes a 1942 Divco milk truck, a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, and a 1968 Pontiac Firebird. A family man at heart, David is married with two adult children and cares for seven French bulldogs: Hank, Larry, Margaret, Eleanor, Stanley, Gladys, and Fran.
